Trying to save civilization with politics in the words of an ancient Zen Master is like, "trying to wash off blood with blood". Creative INDIVIDUALS have always been the only force that keeps the beast (e.g., Bush/fascists) at bay. Hence, the transcendence of toxic political/religious conditioning is the cutting edge of civilization and as the Holy Grail legends teach us, this can be done only by solitary individuals.
